AskSophie, is a health platform owned and operated by CloudMedx, Inc. that enables any Visitor to search for general health and wellness information. Visitors who register for an online account are called “Members” and may access additional services.

This Privacy Policy applies to Personal Information and other types of information collected from you when you access AskSophie health platforms and any other related features, contents, applications, or websites we may offer from time to time (collectively, the “AskSophie Services”) as a Visitor.

As a Visitor, you may use AskSophie to obtain general health and wellness information without providing us Personal Information or registering for the Service. The information we learn from people who use our Website as Visitors helps us personalize and continually improve our Site. Here are the types of information we collect from Visitors.

When you download and use the AskSophie app, the app stores your device information and stores information similar to a cookie. Due to technical reasons, you are not able to prevent an app from collecting this information. Therefore, if you do not want this information collected, please do not use the AskSophie app.

We collect the following information that you give us directly when you access and use AskSophie as a Visitor.

Search Information. We collect and save your search terms and link them to information about your computer to facilitate your future searches. We do not link your search history to any other information that might be available about you.

Customer Service Information. When you contact AskSophie with questions and requests, we may collect Personal Information directly from you in order to assist you.

Selling Information. We do not sell, trade or license Personal Information about our users.

Aggregate or De-Identified Information. We may share aggregate or de-identified information with others for any purpose.

Information Security

While CloudMedx cannot guarantee the security of your Personal Information under all circumstances, CloudMedx does take reasonable steps to protect your personally identifiable information and other information from loss, misuse, or unauthorized alteration by using industry-recognized security safeguards, coupled with carefully developed security procedures and practices. Any personal information that we store is also encrypted to protect against unauthorized access.

However, please remember that the Internet is not a 100% secure environment, and therefore CloudMedx cannot and does not guarantee that information you provide AskSophie may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards.

Children’s Privacy

AskSophie is intended for adults. It is not intended or designed for the use of children under the age of 13. We do not collect personally identifiable information from any person we actually know is a child under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have received information from a person under the age of 13 through AskSophie, we will destroy such information.

International Users

AskSophie is intended solely for use by residents of the United States. Personal Information that you provide to us electronically is subject to the privacy laws of the United States which might differ from those of other countries.

Updates to This Policy

We may occasionally update this Visitors Privacy Policy. When we do, we will also revise the “last updated” date at the beginning of the Visitors Privacy Policy.
